Senior Test Engineer
at Top Tier Investment Bank in Mumbai
Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Design and create test cases from business requirements and related specs
2. Create test data covering different scenarios that will support the test cases 3. Perform manual test execution as well as automated tests
4. Analyze, investigate and log incidents encountered during test execution
5. Work with the QA Manager or Team Lead in planning the testing for the release
6. Coordinate with BAs, development team and users when necessary
7. Effective status reporting
8. Proactively contribute in building the QA knowledge portal
9. Promote knowledge sharing or cross-training
Desired Profile
Qualifications:
1. Analytical, creative, quick learner
2. Knowledge of Equity Trading
3. At least 2 years experience in testing large application systems
4. Solid background of a sound QA/Testing methodology
5. Good working knowledge of HP Quality Center or similar tool
6. Working knowledge of Unix is a must
7. Working knowledge of FIX Protocol a plus factor
8. QTP automation skill preferable
9. Excellent written and oral communication skill
10. No restriction on country of assignment
11. Willing to grow one’s career in testing Top Tier American Investment Bank
Education: UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization,Post Graduation Not Required
