Job Description
1. We are looking for Candidates having 3-6 years of solid OO software development experience with at least 2+ years hands on Microsoft .NET (C#) experience.
2. C++ or Java background preferred.
3. Knowledgeable on UML
4. Strong XML, XSLT, DTD/XML Schema experience. Knowledgeable in HTML.
5. Very strong understanding of Database design and best practices using Microsoft SQL Server 2000
6. Some experience on ASP (VBScript/Jscript)/ASP.NET, IIS based web application development
7. Knowledge of component based/distributed application environments (preferably COM+).
8. Practical knowledge of Windows 2000 Server and a clear understanding of the .Net architecture.
9. Ability to create Use Cases, Requirements Specifications, Architecture Specifications and obtain agreement with key stakeholders The major responsibilities are:-
10. Architect, design and implement component based distributed systems based on Microsoft .NET (C#) environment
11. Performance tuning & troubleshooting of software code
12. Analyze and understand customer requirements and software design objectives. Develop functional specifications.
13. Provide technical guidance to other members of the development team - Perform Code Reviews
14. Perform Unit Testing using NUnit or any other framework. Plan & conduct performance testing.
15. Document software components
16. Build and maintain release scripts and procedures
